First practice with the new members of the band. It was awesome and the energy was great! Some of the ByFist Followers
were there and couldn't stop banging their heads. The band interaction with Brendon and Tethered Eagle was like none we had
felt in a long time.

Tethered Eagle joins the ranks of Byfist
This powerful vocalist hails out of Los Angeles. Brought to ByFist by way of his vision, his unique style has been
compared to Halford meets Dio. Formally with Roaring Tribesmen, Tethered Eagle (a/k/a "Preacher" -- a name given to
him by his biker brothers) has also performed with Mandy Lion’s WWIII and Mad Whip Thunder. This badass indigenous screamer
with Native drapings and ancestral chants is now ByFist’s fifth element. ByFist is ready to ROCK!
“Tethered Eagle,” formerly of the Roaring Tribesman out of California, has been drafted as the new singer
for ByFist. A true Native American and tribe member, he brings an influence from Rob Halford, DIO, and combines his vocals

BYFIST DRUMMER JESS VARA WAS INJURED IN A HEADON COLLISION LAST SUNDAY NIGHT. VARA WAS TRAVELING AS A PASSENGER IN A
LATE MODEL PICKUP WHEN IT WENT OUT OF CONTROL AND SLAMMED HEADON INTO THE SIDE OF AN EMBANKMENT. VARA SUFFERED SUBSTANTIAL
INJURIES AND WILL BE OUT OF THE BYFIST LINEUP FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 MONTHS. DAVEY LEE WAS CONTACTED FOR COMMENT AND HAD THIS
TO SAY. " WE ARE THANKFUL THAT JESS IS STILL ALIVE AS IT COULD HAVE EASILY GONE THE OTHER WAY, I TALKED WITH HIM YESTERDAY
AND EVEN THOUGH HE HAS TO RE COOPERATE FROM HIS INJURIES HE WAS OVERALL IN GOOD SPIRITS" IN AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE
BAND RON TRAVEISO FROM THE BAND IGNITER WILL FILL IN FOR THE REST OF THE TOUR DATES OR UNTIL JESS IS ABLE TO COME BACK.

BYFIST was busy in December with shows every weekend up til just before Christmas.
We played two shows at the Silver bullet and then a BIG show at Randy's Rodeo with
several local bands, Reverend, and the Rick Sanford Project
Davey, Notch and Jessie did double duty playing back to back, first with BYFIST and then
with David Wayne and Reverend.
Everybody had a great time even though some of the band and several of the road crew
were stricken with that nasty flu that was hitting everybody. We took a couple weeks off
for the Holidays and to bring out and polish up a couple tunes from some of the old
albums.
Davey threw one helluva New Years Eve party and a good time was definitely had by
all.
January is going to be busy again.We're starting off January 9 with a show at Tejano,
South Military at Bynum. San Antonio. SA Sanctuary, Ghost Rider and of course BYFIST
will be playing.Show starts at 8 PM
Next week we'll be doing two shows back to back at Sam's Burger Joint
On Broadway at Grayson in San Antonio. The 16th is our show with Seven Witches
and the 17th is the Texas Metal Health benefit for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Doors open at 7 and the bands include Against The Wire, Left, Lovecraft, BYFIST,
Doctura, and Uneven.
Bookings are coming in already for February, March and April so keep your eyes
on this page for the latest. And of course the Upcoming European tour in June.

Well hello my Metal Brethrens, just a note to update
you on this weeks happenings. As you may or maynot
know
David Wayne has disbanded REVEREND so that
he can'pursue another project. Nacho and I kind of expected it since very little progress had been made on the new REVEREND
album. In talking with Jay(Rev Bassist) he felt like little to no progress was being made and expected it also. But
on the flipside this may be a blessing in disguise, we have been so busy with BYFIST that we have had little time for
anything else. We are now able to go full force and take care of business at hand. I talked with the record company (METALAGES
RECORDS) yesterday and told them what was going on and needless to say they were happy that we will be able to devout
all the time necessary on touring and getting people turned on to the "BYFIST" metal machine. If you have not requested
your copy of BYFIST's Adrenalin CD please do,once the record(PRESERVING THE PAST) is released it will no longer be

Hey you Metalheads out there, just a quick report on what's going on in the BYFIST camp. We have been having kickass
rehersals, and have been writing new material that simply shreds. In the last few months we have been writing, recording,
and just enjoying the whole feel of our music. We will be going back to the studio this week to do the final mixing
and mastering on a few tunes that we are going to try and get on the album that we have coming out " Preserving the
Past " on MetalAges Records, hopefully within the next 30 days. Now that we have worked in Rob Steele (vox) we will
be puting together a small Texas tour , and then an Eastcoast tour . We probably won't get out to Europe this year especially
since it is very hard to travel with the war just ending. Many places in Europe are not welcoming Americans right now
and it is not safe to travel. But all you Europeon Metalheads just be patient we will be there before you know it and give
you the ass kicking of your life. We really appreciate everyones support and we will continue to hold the Metal FLAG
high and with pride. We will be posting on a regular basis on what we are up to, so besure and checkback periodically

BYFIST "BADBOY" ROB STEELE SPENDS 6 NIGHTS IN THE COOLER !!!!!BYFIST Vocalist Rob Steele was pulled
over Thursday night by the San Antonio Police Department for a routine check when it was discovered that there was an outstanding
warrant for his arrest for unpaid traffic tickets. He was hauled off to jail and after meeting with the judge was given
6 nights in jail to satisfy his fines. Rob Steele had this to say " I tried to get a hold of Davey or Nacho, but just
my luck they were nowhere to be found, so I made the best of it. When I finally got a hold of Davey and Nacho they told
me they figured that is what happened but weren't sure being that I went to the coast for some fun. Nacho did say

BYFIST have had to reschedule
their San Antonio show due to an unfortunate death of
the owner of the club. Sources
report that the owner
of the San Antonio Club BOND'S 007 suffered a massive
heart attack and died at the club. All
shows scheduled
at the club are cancelled until further notice.
Future BYFIST shows will be posted as they are
confirmed.

Europeon tour is in the works for the summer by the Blackrose Foundation in Holland. In addition BYFIST's new album
" PRESERVING THE PAST " is scheduled for a March 2003 release through Metalage Records while REVEREND's new album

Contract
with the BLACKROSE FOUNDATION in The
Netherlands for exclusive representation for all
present and future dealings in
Europe. The Foundation
was so impressed with Davey Lee and Nacho Vara that
they just had to be involved with this guitar
duo. Rob
Hilgers Chairman of the Blackrose Foundation had this
to say " We are very serious about manageing BYFIST
and
thank them for this opportunity."
In response Davey Lee said that it was really good
working with the foundation on
the last Europeon tour
and that you couldn't find a better team to work with.
" Everyone here is dedicated to keep
metal alive and
we want to be part of it" The BlackRose Foundations
first order of business will be to get BYFIST booked
all
over Europe in as many major festivals as
possible.

11/04/2002 - Davey Lee and Nacho Vara will be performing at the Black Rose
Festival in EUROPE(The Netherlands) and The 5th Annual Metal Mafia Festival in Germany with REVEREND. They will leave on December
2, 2002 and return around the 16th.
10/21/2002 - BYFIST has been selected to appear on the German magazine " Heavy Odor
Was " Metal Crusader Compilation Disc. The song chosen was " Mary Celeste " according to Martin Brandt from the magazine these
discs come out twice a year and have a circulation of over 40,000 cds.
10/19/2002-MetalAges Records in Virginia will be
releasing 10 Byfist recordings from 1987 to current, the album will be entitled " Preserving the Past "
10/06/2002-The
song " Mary Celeste" from BYFIST's Adrenalin album will be featured on the 2002 ProgPower compilation record.
